Trousers and sensible shoes are advisable. You are obviously more exposed to the elements on a trike, so an extra layer of clothing is recommended as we can always store it in the luggage box if not required.
We offer the use of waterproof oversuits in sizes 'S' to 'XL' and we also have a range of safety helmets.
Our prices are per TOUR. Whether one person or two decide upon a tour the price will be for the tour. Therefore taking a friend with you is more economical! It's also nice to have someone to share the experience of a trip on a trike.
We see 8 years old as the youngest age for our tours. There is no upper limit, it all depends on how young you feel!! A rough guide would be 8 - 80+.
If you book a trike we will turn up, unless unforeseen circumstances prevent us from doing so (e.g. traffic hold up due to accident or road works). However, Premier Trike Tours retains the right to postpone a trip if it is felt that the safety of the passengers and rider could be affected by the adverse weather conditions. We appreciate that trikes are open to the elements and that poor weather conditions may affect the enjoyment of the tour. Please contact Premier Trike Tours if you have any worries about the weather prior to your trip. Any deposit paid will be transferable to another tour. Once the tour commences we can offer wet weather gear to our customers. It should be noted that once customers have committed to the tour they have accepted whatever weather conditions prevail during the tour. Hopefully the weather will be kind and you'll be able to enjoy the exhilaration of a trip on a trike.
Payment is collected at the start of the tour. Cheques can only be accepted on advanced bookings, received by us 5 days before the tour date.
For our half and full day tours we will pick up customers within 5 miles of our West Bridgford base. For our shorter tours we pick up in the car park on the West Bridgford library, at Bridgford Road. All customers choosing a shorter tour can be picked up from their hotel or home, but there will be a small fixed supplement added to the tour price.
We offer gift vouchers for all our chauffeured tours. If you wish to purchase one for a relative or friend or even as an employee incentive reward, contact us by e-mail or phone and we'll arrange it. All vouchers are valid for a year from date of purchase.
You can, but only on an upgrade or an equivalently priced tour. The full value of the voucher must be redeemed against one tour. The company cannot split the value of the voucher between a number of tours.
Don't forget your camera, be it stills or video!! We allow for a number of stops on our longer tours when you have the chance to get those unique photographs on the trike. On the shorter tours there will be ample opportunity for photographs at the start and finish of the tours.
The simple answer is YES. The wearing of safety helmets is not a statutory requirement on a trike. As a company we are committed to providing safety helmets if required by customers, however, you are free to wear whatever headgear you wish.
